Stanley E. Strickland, age 64, of Dalton, Georgia passed away Saturday, May 30, 2020. He was born on July 25, 1955. He was preceded in death by his parents, Rosby and Alene Strickland; son, Rosby Lamar Strickland; father and mother in law, Howard and Gail Epps; brothers, Junior Clark, Dilburn Strickland, WK Strickland, and Larry Strickland. He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Cynthia Strickland of Dalton; brother, Harace Strickland of Chatsworth; sister, Roslyn Brumbelow of Macon; sister in law, Patricia Strickland of Dalton; special cousin, Billy Strickland; several nieces and nephews; fur babies, Angel, Lulu and Kitty. A Funeral service to celebrate the life of Stanley E. Strickland will be held at 3:00 PM Tuesday, June 2, 2020 at the chapel of Dalton Funeral Home with Rev. Jody Strickland officiating. The family will be receiving friends for visitation from 12:00 PM until the hour of serviced. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the American Cancer Society or NWGA Human Society.
