Stanley Ray Tarvin, age 63, of Rocky Face, Georgia passed away Tuesday, February 28, 2017. He was born on March 16, 1953. He was preceded in death by his parents, Virgil and Dorine Tarvin; brothers, Charles Tarvin and Tommy Tarvin; sister, Barbara Jackson. He is survived by his sons, Jason Tarvin of Florida, John Tarvin of Villanow; daughters and sons in law, Amy and Randy Morgan of Rocky Face, Amanda and Paul Rauch of Dalton; brother and sister in law, Jimmy and Brenda Tarvin of Rocky Face; sisters, Carolyn Morris of Resaca, Shirley Gordon of Dalton; grandchildren, Matthew Shaw, Adra Morgan, Harvey Tarvin, Kaylee Tarvin, Chase Richards, Christopher Richards and Katelyn Richards; great grandchildren, Levi Shaw and Olivia Shaw. A funeral service to celebrate the life of Stanley Ray Tarvin will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, March 4, 2017 at Macedonia Church in Villanow, GA with Bro. Bill Thornton officiating. The family will be receiving friends for visitation from 11:00 AM until the hour of service. Interment will follow at the church's cemetery.
