Stephen Douglas Farris, age 52, of Dalton, Georgia passed away Wednesday, December 7, 2016. He was born on October 8, 1964. He was preceded in death by his mother, Ida Farris Blackwell. He is survived by his son, Justin Williams of Chattanooga; daughter, Kelly Williams of Dalton; Brother and sister in law, Billy and Sheila Farris of Cohutta; sisters, Tanya Blackwell of Resaca and Lori Clark of Dalton. A funeral service to celebrate the life of Stephen Douglas Farris will be held at 1:00 PM Thursday, December 8, 2016 at the chapel of Dalton Funeral Home with Bro. Preston Bivens officiating. Interment will be at West Hill Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends for visitation from 11:00 AM until the hour of service.
