Steve Crider, age 72, of Dalton, Georgia passed away Wednesday, December 9, 2020. Steve was born on January 7, 1948. He was preceded in death by his wife, Brenda Crider; parents, Carl and Eula Harris Crider; daughter, Tammy Newton; brother, Bill Crider; sister, Joyce Crider; grandchild, Brent. He is survived by his, son and daughter in law, Steve and Lisa Crider of Dalton; daughters, Sandra Crider of Dalton and Vickie Newton of Dalton; brothers and sisters in law, Larry and Mary Crider of Dalton and Emit and Kathy Crider of Crossville, TN; sisters and brothers in law, Alice Locked of Dalton; Barbara and Donald Ash of Alabama; grandchildren, Angel, Raven, Marky, Cassy, Patricia, Isaac, Maranda, Whiney, Joshua, and Ashly; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. A funeral service to celebrate the life of Steve Crider will be held at 12:00 PM Saturday, December 12, 2020 at the chapel of Dalton Funeral Home. Interment will be at West Hill Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends for visitation at Dalton Funeral Home from 5-8 PM Friday, December 11, 2020.
