Susan Elaine Cathey, age 51, of Dalton, Georgia passed away Saturday, October 27, 2018. She was born on September 12, 1967. She was preceded in death by her mother, Pansy Long; son, Kenny Long; and brother, Kenny Long. She is survived by her father, Walter Long of Dalton; daughters and son in law, Valerie Giddens of Dalton, Heather and Jarren Trammell of Tunnel Hill, Summer Rich of Chatsworth; grandchildren, Kayla Jackson, Kylan Jackson, Jada Rankin, Gavin Burke, Lyla Simmons, Abel, Jayce Ridley. A memorial service to celebrate the life of Susan Elaine Cathey will be held at 6:00 PM Thursday, November 8, 2018 at the chapel of Dalton Funeral Home with Bro. James Sanders officiating.
