Teddie Young, age 58, of Dalton, Georgia passed away Thursday, April 17, 2019. He was born on March 17, 1961. He was preceded in death by his father, Ernest Young; and brother, Raymond Young; grandparents, Kirby and Lucy Young, and Athea Powell; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. He is survived by his mother, Unive Young of Dalton; daughter, Brittney Byers of Dalton; brother and sister in law, Fletcher and Velma Young of Dalton; sister, Rachel Queen of Dalton; mother of his daughter, Jennifer Young of Dalton; sister in law, Dianne Young; grandchildren, Kaydence Byers, Abel Byers and Eriniah Byers; aunt, Ruth Young; uncle and aunt, Donald and Eva Mae Young; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. A funeral service to celebrate the life of Teddie Young will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, April 22, 2019 at the chapel of Dalton Funeral Home with Bro. Donald Young officiating. Interment will be at New Hope – Kilgore Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends for visitation from 5-8 PM Saturday, April 20th. Kevin Young, Kelly Young, Chase Parker, Colten Parker, Roger Smith and Brice Reece will be serving as pallbearers.
