Teddy "Ted" Owens, age 61, of Dalton, Ga. passed away on Wednesday, October 2, 2024. He was born December 5, 1962. He was preceded in death by his sister, Loretta Sisson. He is survived by his wife, Tammie Owens; parents, Earl Owens (Gladys) and Peggy Jones (Roy); son, Jefferey Owens Rogers (Vanessa), James Worley; daughter, Niki Lawson (Nathan); brother, Eddie Ray Owens (Leigh) A funeral service to celebrate the life of Mr. Teddy "Ted" Owens will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, October 5, 2024 at the Homeland Baptist Church with Brother Bruce Owens and Pastor Harold Poteet officiating. Interment will be Peeples Lakes Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends for visitation from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Friday, October 4, 2024 Dalton Funeral Home.
