Terry Allen Meadows, age 65, of Dalton, Georgia, passed away peacefully at his residence surrounded by his family on December 16, 2025. Born on March 12, 1960, in Dalton, Terry was the son of the late Mark Meadows and Lois Paige. He spent most of his life working as a roofer, a trade that reflected his strong work ethic and dedication. Beyond his profession, Terry was known as a loving man who cared deeply for his family and friends. He is survived by his devoted wife, Mavis Burchfield Meadows; daughter, Teshina Meadows; two stepsons, Shannon Burchfield of Robbinsville, NC, and Shane Evans of Dalton, GA; nephew, Billy Meadows; uncle and aunt, Denver and Faye Langley; brothers- and sisters-in-law, Daryl and Teresa Orr, Paul and Brenda Burchfield, and Steve Burchfield of Robbinsville, NC; grandson, Dylan Poole Evans, who was the apple of his eye and whom he absolutely adored; and his special cousin, Dale Coker, who was like a brother to him. Terry also leaves behind many beloved friends and cousins, too numerous to name, each of whom he cherished. In addition to his parents, Terry was preceded in death by his brother, David Meadows, and sister-in-law, Denise Burchfield of Robbinsville, NC. Terry crossed over from death to life forevermore.
