Thelma Willie Carter Foster age 86, of Eton, GA, passed away on Thursday, January 1, 2026. Thelma was born December 27, 1939, in Summerville, Georgia, and was the beloved daughter of the late Hess Carter and Leola Fowler Carter. A true Georgia spirit, she was an avid Georgia Bulldogs and Atlanta Braves fan, and she rarely missed a NASCAR race. Thelma had a joyful appreciation for life's simple pleasures. She loved her cockatiels, cherished her collection of dolls, and took great pride in tending to her flowers. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Henry Clyde Foster, Jr.; her grandson, Joshua Foster; her great granddaughter, Jazman Foster; and thirteen siblings. Thelma leaves behind a loving family who will forever carry her memory: her children, Maxine Woody, Harold Foster (Mary), Hess Foster, and Michael Foster; nine grandchildren; and thirteen great grandchildren. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Graveside and interment services will be held Sunday, January 4, 2026, at 2:30 P.M., Eton Cemetery with Pastor Danny Cochran officiating.
