Thomas Burk, age 58, of Dalton, Georgia passed away Friday, December 11, 2015. He was born April 3, 1957. He is preceded in death by his parents, Arlon Cliffard and Grace Burk; son, Thomas Burk; brothers, Douglas Burk, Harold Burk, James Burk; and a sister, Mary Burk Greeson. Thomas is survived by his companion, Cindie Shehan of Dalton; son, Marlon Burk; brothers and sisters in law, Charles Burk of Dalton, James and Willie Mae Burk of Dalton, Brad and Betty Burk of Chatsworth; sisters and brothers in law, Gloria and Charley Roberson of Old Fort, TN, Charlotte and Johnny Burns of Dalton, Ruby Burk of Dalton, Joyce and Herbert Slaton of Dalton; and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service to celebrate the life of Thomas Burk will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday, December 13, 2015 with Brother J.H. Herman officiating.
