Thomas J. Smith, age 62, of Dalton, GA. passed away on Tuesday, November 7, 2023. He was born July 14, 1961. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jackie and Bernita "Winkle" Smith; sister, Tim Murr; brother in-laws, Bobby Ridley, Alan Watkins. He is survived by his loving wife, Vickey "McGatha" Smith; sons, Andrew Jackie Smith, Thomas Daniel (Benita) Smith, brother, Gerald (Teresa) Smith; sisters, Rhonda (Michael) Cain, Tina Murr, Michelle Watkins; sister in-laws, Debra (Ronnie) Blevins, Regina (Scott) Cunningham, Kathy (Randy) Croy, Pam Ridley. A funeral service to celebrate the life of Mr. Thomas J. Smith will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, November 13, 2023 at the Chapel of Dalton Funeral Home with Pastor Brad Cooper and Pastor Robbie Hopkins officiating. Interment will be held at United Memorial Gardens. The family will be receiving friends for visitation from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Sunday, November 12, 2023 at Dalton Funeral Home.
