Trammel Lamar Nix, age 59, of Crandall, Ga. passed away on Wednesday, March 13, 2024. He was born November 20, 1964. He was preceded in death by his wife Stacy Rector; parents, James Walker Nix and Gladys Marie Cochran Nix; son, Eric Nix, Cory Dale Ford; sister, Teresa Lloyd. He is survived by his brothers; Bobby (Mandy)Townsend, David (Polly) Nix; sisters, Rita (David) Staten, Tammy (Trent) Duncan, Sondra (Scott) Walker, Billie (Travis) Smith; several nieces and nephews; and a host of great nieces and nephews. He was an avid animal lover and volunteered at the human society. A memorial service to celebrate the life of Mr. Trammel Lamar Nix will be held at 6:00 pm on Friday, March 15, 2024 at the Chapel of Dalton Funeral Home with Pastor Bobby Overby officiating. The family will be receiving friends for visitation from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm on Friday, March 15, 2024 at Dalton Funeral Home.
