Tressie "Jo" Josephine Sluder, age 78, of Chatsworth, Georgia passed away Sunday, December 30, 2018. She was born on March 22, 1940. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Sluder; parents, Mack and Pearly Patterson; daughter, Lisa Kimberly Sluder Patterson; brothers, Buck Patterson, William Patterson; and sister, Opal Glover. She is survived by her sons and daughter in law, Randy and Sherry Sluder of Chatsworth; Kevin Sluder of Dalton; brothers and sister in law, Danny Patterson of Dalton, David and Faye Patterson; sisters, Mable Ensley of Chatsworth, Alma Holder of Chatsworth, Shirley Teem of Chatsworth; grandchildren, Jared Patterson of Chatsworth, Kaylyn Patterson of Chatsworth, Courtney Weaver, Terry Granger of Chatsworth; 6 great grandsons; and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service to celebrate the life of Tressie "Jo" Josephine Sluder will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, January 1, 2018 at the chapel of Dalton Funeral Home with Bro. Danny Cochran officiating.
