Unita "Nita" Martin, age 70, of Collinsville, Alabama passed away Tuesday, December 20, 2016. She was born on March 20, 1946. She was preceded in death by her parents, Marrow and Vella Beard; a son, Jeff Moore; a brother, Russell Beard; and a granddaughter, Jennifer Harkins. She is survived by her husband of 40 years, James Tilmon Martin of Collinsville, AL; son and daughter in law, Perry "PJ" and Kimberly Martin of Leesburg, AL; daughter and son in law, Jeanita "Lynn" and Richard Nyberg of Sweetwater, TN; sister and brother in law, Markeeta and Mike Alva of Thatcher, AZ; grandchildren, Cecilia (Scott) Wolter, Timothy Harkins, James (Erin) Martin, Katie Harkins, Sable Smith, Jessica Green, and Jerry McPherson; great grandchildren, Addie Wolter, Peyton Smith, Savannah Wolter, and Maxwell Martin. A graveside service to celebrate the life of Unita "Nita" Martin will be held at 9:30 AM on Monday, December 26, 2016 at Chattanooga National Cemetery.
