Veneta Hester, age 73, of Chatsworth, Ga. passed away on Saturday, October 26, 2024. She was born June 20, 1951. She was preceded in death by her father, Lee Hester and her mother, Bonnie Faulkner Phillips; step father, Jim Phillips; brothers, infant David Andrew Phillips, Tommy Glen Hester; sisters, Brenda Nell Hester Reiger, Laura Lisa Phillips. She is survived by her sister, Mary Howard; nephews, Danny Hester, Eric Howard, Brad Howard; niece, Garronica Bentley; nine great nephews and nieces; several cousins, aunts, uncles, her best friend of over 25 years, Kitty Seabolt and many other friends from over the years. Veneta loved her family and friends to the fullest. Her favorite music was country in which Alan Jackson was at the top of her list, all you would have to say was his name an she would take it from there. She was a good listener with no judging, she used her life experience to encourage you and help you in anyway she could. Veneta was a very generous, witty and just down right fun to be around kind of person. She loved butterflies just as much as she hated spiders. Red was Veneta's favorite color, please feel free to wear red in her honor. A service for Veneta Hester will be held Saturday, November 2, 2024 at 2:00 P.M in the chapel of Dalton Funeral Home with Pastor Shane Bailey officiating. Family will be receiving friends for visitation Saturday, November 2, 2024 from 12:00 P.M – 2:00 P.M. Interment will be immediately following at West Hill Cemetery.
