Venus Renee Brown age 60, of Dalton, GA, passed away on Tuesday, April 1, 2025, after a courageous fight with cancer. Venus was born in Murphy, NC, on December 21, 1964, the daughter of the late Harold Humphries and Judy Truett Hutchins. She loved her family especially being with the grandchildren. Venus enjoyed dancing. In addition to her parents, Venus was preceded in death by a sister, April and a brother, Warren. Survivors include her three children, Tiffany Nations, Christopher Baine (Gidget), and Erica Boyd (Jerry Boyd, Jr.); fourteen grandchildren, Chris Sulser, Leland Cain, Triniti Cain, Austen Nolan (Savannah), Seth Kell, Andrew Baine, Donavon Baine, Caydance Baine, Hayleigh Baine, Skylee Kell, Gregory Nations, Landon Nations, Hope Baine, and Matthew Baine; six great-grandchildren, Oaklie Baine, Atlas Baine, John Luke Nolan Bodhi Nolan, Noah Baine, and Zane Smith; sister, Veronica Flood; and three brothers, Victor Smith, John Humphries (Jill), and Joseph Humphries (Angie). A Celebration of Life will be held Thursday, April 3, 2025, at 7:00 P.M., Chapel of the Dalton Funeral Home with Pastor Johnny West officiating.
