Mr. Vernon Lamar Brown, age 63, of Dalton, Ga. passed away on Friday, September 5, 2025. He was born on September 4.1962. He was preceded in death by his parents Marshall Brown and Katherine Morgan; grandparents, Roosevelt and Mamie Brown. He is survived by his son, Eddie Burnette Jr.; Daughter, Kristy Burnette; Brothers, Marshall Brown and William D. Morgan (Lisa); and sister, Sharon Angelia Painter (Jerrimey). Dustin Brown and Tashina Nelson; Numerous nieces and nephews. Mr. Brown was an active member of the Dalton's Elk's Lodge. He loved fishing and throwing darts. In lieu of flowers, make donations to the Dalton Elks Lodge. A memorial service to celebrate the life of Mr. Vernon L. Brown will be held at a later date.
