Vickey "Nana" Hampton, age 62, of Dalton, Georgia passed away. She was born on February 14, 1959. She was preceded in death by her husband, Steve Hampton; father, John Sexton; and sister, Tina Sexton. She is survived by her mother and step-father, Elizabeth Sexton and Abe Lowery; sons and daughters-in-law, Johnathan and Elizabeth Bearden of Dalton, Shannon Bearden of Ringgold; daughter, Sara Durham of Dalton; brothers and sister-in-law, Timothy Sexton of Dalton, Allen and Charlsie Sexton of Dalton; grandchildren, Mikiah Durham, McKinlee Durham, Starr Summers, Ashanti Beasley; great grandchild, Armani Womble; life time cousin and friend, Terrie Self; and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service to celebrate the life of Vickey "Nana" Hampton will be held at 3:00 PM Saturday, June 26, 2021 at the chapel of Dalton Funeral Home. Interment will be at Whitfield Memorial Gardens.
