Vickie Kay Anderson, passed away peacefully on July 6, 2026, at Hamilton Medical Center. Born in Lafayette, Georgia, on February 14, 1957, Vickie was a beloved wife, devoted mother, cherished grandmother and great-grandmother, and a friend to many. Her family and those who knew her will remember her warmth, kindness, and unwavering love.

Vickie’s Baptist faith was a guiding force throughout her life, shaping her compassionate spirit and her commitment to her family and community. She embodied the qualities of devotion and generosity, always putting the needs and happiness of her loved ones at the heart of everything she did. Those who spent time with Vickie recall her radiant smile and the joy she found in the simple pleasures, with shopping among her favorite pastimes.

She is survived by her loving husband, Ronnie Anderson, who stood by her side with steadfast support. Vickie’s legacy lives on through her children: her son, Michael Peter Espy; her daughters, Tammy Evans (and her husband Matthew Evans), Amanda Kerley, Stephanie Reed (and her husband Steven Reed), and Shaunna Zoeckler (and her husband Jude Zoeckler). Vickie also leaves behind her dear sister, Joyce Elkins, whose cherished memories with Vickie offer comfort in this time of loss. She was privileged to witness her family grow, embracing her role as both grandmother and great-grandmother with boundless affection.

Those who knew Vickie Kay Anderson will forever carry with them memories of her loving nature and strong spirit. Her family, friends, and all whose lives she touched mourn her passing but also celebrate the profound impact she had in her years among us.

A visitation for family and friends will be held on July 11, 2026, from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Dalton Funeral Home, 620 S Glenwood Ave, Dalton, GA 30721. A Celebration of Life service will follow at 2:00 p.m., also at Dalton Funeral Home.
