Obituary

Victor Ray Allen, 69, of Tunnel Hill, passed away on August 18, 2024, making his final trade and gaining His heavenly body. Victor was born on November 22, 1954 in Copperhill, Tn. He learned early on that he had a love of any automobile, running or not. He loved to fix old cars to resale, haul vehicles with his rollback, or trade for a new "toy" to take and show off at Rod Run. He especially had a love of racing, and loved to race at North GA Speedway. Victor spent many an hour in his shop making those trades, or "wheelin' and dealin' ", as he would say. His shop was decorated with many of his favorite things, including photos of his family, photos of famous Nascar drivers, especially Earnhardt, and model cars. He would spend endless hours at the shop talking to friends, "makin' a deal", and spending time with his pet cat, Baby Blue. At age 50, Victor gave his heart to Jesus Christ. From that day forward, anyone who spent more than five minutes with him would be asked if they knew Jesus as their personal savior. He loved people, and he loved to share the gospel with anyone he could. Victor was lovingly known by his family as "Pawpaw". He loved his wife, Doris, his daughters, sons-in-law, and grandchildren deeply. While this is a sad time, we are thankful that we have the hope of Heaven and seeing him again one day. Victor was preceded in death by his mother, Wilma Mae Tucker; his brothers, Herman Allen, Leroy Allen and his sister Stella Headrick Victor is survived by his wife, Doris Ann, to whom he was married for 46 years. Victor is also survived by his daughters and sons-in-law, Treasa and LaDon West, Mae and Chris Williams; granddaughters and grandsons-in-law, LaRissa and Anthony Landowski, Maegan and Preston Pangle; grandson and granddaughter-in-law, Bryson and Carley Williams; great granddaughter, Analissa Landowski and great grandsons Asher Landowski and Carson Pangle; sisters and brother-in-law, Hazel and Bobby Brown, Katie Kenner, and Carolyn Tucker also survive. Victor leaves behind many nieces, nephews and extended family. Services will be held at Dalton Funeral Home on Friday August 23, 2024 with Bro. John Dotson and Pastor Johnny Carnes officiating.
