Victor Morales, age 83, of Dalton, Georgia, passed away on Thursday, August 21, 2014. He was born on June 13, 1931 in Juana Diaz, Puerto Rico. He is preceded in death by his parents, Pedro Juan Morales and Agapita Ortiz. He is survived by his wife, Lydia Morales; sons, Nathanial Morales and Obed Morales; daughters, Damaris Avendano, Lydia E. Alvarado, Nydia E. Miller and Sylvia L. Moffett; brother, Robert Morales; 12 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. A funeral service for Victor Morales will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, August 23, 2014 at the chapel of Dalton Funeral Home with Rev. Ron Taylor officiating. Interment will follow at United Memorial Gardens. The family will be receiving friends from 10:00 AM till the hour of service.
