Victoria Lynn Parker, age 52, of Tyler, TX, passed away on Wednesday, November 15, 2023. She was born March 2, 1971, in Plant City, FL. She is preceded in death by her mother, Laura Dunn Burk. Victoria Lynn Parker was a dedicated and compassionate individual. Her 25 years of service as a nurse and perfect attendance for over 17 years at Hamilton Medical Center reflects a strong work ethic and commitment to her profession. Beyond her professional life, she was very passionate about growing the Kingdom for the Lord. Her family and friends held a special place in her heart, and it was evident that her love for them enriched her personal life. She was so good at balancing a successful career with a strong sense of purpose and connection to her loved ones. She is survived by her loving husband, Jimmy Parker of Tyler, TX; children, Jessica, Kassiah, Zack, and Tori, all from Texas; and numerous grandchildren; her adored fur baby (Gator); her father, Eugene Burk; paternal parents, Ruby and Don Sherman of Texas; siblings, Garnett Burk, Sister Mary Sage, Judy Stinnett (Tom), Jeff Burk (Shirley), Marie Bailey (Marvin) from Alabama, Georgia, and Florida, Ronnie Parker (Angela), Danny Parker, and James Franklin Parker (Bernadine) of Texas; nieces and nephews, Rebecca, Savannah, Cody, Megan, Amanda, Elijah, Haley, and Jordan; great nieces and nephews, Carson, Chloe, Noah, Liam, Luca, Kadin, Kolton, Axel, Adaline, and Andrew. A funeral service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Victoria Lynn Parker will be held at 2:00 pm on November 21, 2023, at the Chapel of Dalton Funeral Home. The family will receive friends for visitation from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm on Tuesday, November 21, 2023, at Dalton Funeral Home.
