Mrs. Virginia "Genny" Alma Fields Hughes, age 64, of Chatsworth, GA passed away on Thursday, October 27, 2022. She was born on May 28, 1958. She is preceded in death by her parents, Eli Fields and Katie Juanita "Goforth" Fields; husband, Billy Joe "BJ" Hughes; sister in law, Rita Fields; and brother in laws, Mike Pullen and David Beirg. Genny was a free spirit and everyone called her "Momma". She is survived by her sons, Eli Joe (Nikki) Fields of Chatsworth, Billy Spurlin (Bridgette) Hughes of Chatsworth; daughter, Lawonna Beth Hughes of Chatsworth; brothers, Herbert Clinton Fields of Dalton, Junior Everett (Teresa) Fields of Chatsworth, and James Franklin Fields of Dalton; sisters, Tiny Ruth Pullen of Chatsworth and Robin Gerene Beirg; grandchildren, Zac, McKinley, Lexi, Kristen, Blaze, Tyke, Maddie, and Desaray. A memorial service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Virginia "Genny" Alma Fields Hughes will be held at will be held at 1:00 PM Friday, August 4, 2023 at Murray Memorial Gardens.
