Wanda Sue Mathis, age 78, of Chatsworth, Ga passed away Monday, May 3, 2021. She was born May 12, 1942. She was preceded in death by her husband Jimmy Dale Mathis; parents, Authur Bearden and Lucille McClure. She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law Mark and Maranza Mathis of Dalton, Ga; Jimmy Delane and Yvetta Mathis of Chatsworth, Ga; daughter and son-in-law Renetta and Johnny Smith of Ringgold, Ga; sister, Margaret Hughes of Varnell, Ga; Grand Children, Whitney Haygood, Rachel Mathis, Brad Mathis, Daylon Mathis, Stephanie Smith and Jordan Smith 4 Great Grandchildren and several Nephews and Nieces. A funeral service to celebrate the life of Wanda Sue Mathis will be held 1:00 Pm Friday, May 7,2021 at The Church of God the Union Assembly in Chatsworth with Nephew Paul Thomas Hughes and Pastor Jason Bell. Interment will be at West Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends for visitation from 4-8 PM Thursday, May 6, 2021 at the Dalton Funeral Home.
