Wanda Lou Rittenhouse Rutherford, age 83, of Rocky Face, GA. passed away on Wednesday, February 12, 2025. She was born June 20, 1941. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arnold Rutherford; parents, Carl and Annie Hughes Rittenhouse; brothers, Saul Rittenhouse and wife Betty, James Rittenhouse, David Rittenhouse and wife Bobby; sister, Deborah Rittenhouse; father and mother in-law, William and Vada Rutherford; brother in-laws, O.D. Rutherford, William Stout; sister in-law, June Paul and husband John, Minnie Joyce Rutherford. She is survived by her son. Steven Rutherford; daughters, Dixcee Merritt and husband Tony, Marniqua Rutherford; brother, Carl Rittenhouse Jr.; sister, Dawn Reed; grandchildren, Kaleb Rutherford, Keaton Rutherford, Ashley Merritt, Haley Merritt; sister in-law, Karen Rittenhouse, Sharon Robinson and husband Buster, Jan Wright, Annette Stout; brother in-law, William Rutherford and wife Jan; special friends, Daisy Lambert, Linda Duckworth, Lonnie and Anna Starnes. A funeral service to celebrate Wanda's life will be held at 3:00 pm on Saturday, February 15, 2025 at the Chapel of Dalton Funeral Home with Pastor Stoney Kiser and Pastor Lasador Wilson officiating. Interment will be United Memorial Gardens. Wanda was a life long member of the Church of God of the Union Assembly. The family will be receiving friends for visitation from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm on Saturday, February 15, 2025 at Dalton Funeral Home.
