Obituary

William “Bill” Redwine, Sr., age 78, of Dalton, and formerly of East St. Louis, Illinois, passed away peacefully at his home.

Born in East St. Louis to the late Max Redwine and Dollie Leonard, Bill lived a life defined by hard work, loyalty, and a deep love for his family. He proudly served his country as a veteran of the United States Army.

Bill was known for his strong work ethic and entrepreneurial spirit. He built Laminate and Wood King from the ground up, turning it into a trusted and well‑loved business within the Whitfield County community. His dedication to his craft and his customers made a lasting impact on countless families and homes throughout the area.

Outside of work, Bill enjoyed the simple joys of life. He loved karaoke, cheering on the Atlanta Falcons, and really, football of any kind, and he was an enthusiastic NASCAR fan. His sense of humor, easygoing nature, and love for good company made him someone people naturally gravitated toward.

He is survived by his sons, Bill Redwine Jr. and Jeff Redwine; his daughter, Stacy Redwine; his sister, Brenda Redwine; grandchildren, Dustin Redwine and Madysen Redwine; and great‑grandchildren, Cooper Redwine and Cora Redwine. He leaves behind a family who loved him deeply and will carry his memory forward with pride.

In accordance with his wishes, Bill will be cremated, and no services will be scheduled at this time.

Arrangements have been entrusted to independently owned and operated Dalton Funeral Home, 620 S. Glenwood Ave. Dalton, GA 30721; 706-529-5371.
