William Ray Conner, age 66, of Chatsworth, Georgia passed away Monday, March 13, 2017. He was born on February 11, 1951. He was preceded in death by his parents, Rev. Paul and Pauline Conner; brothers, Eugene Conner, James Conner and Arlin Conner; and a brother in law, JC Wilson. He is survived by his son and daughter in law, Jeremy Conner of Chatsworth, William Paul and Angela Conner of Lake Toxaway, NC; brothers and sisters in law, Jim and Trish Conner of Dalton, Avery Conner of Dalton, Eddie and Linda Conner of Sugar Valley, Terry and Angie of Dalton; sisters and brother in law, Sissy and Bobby Petty of Calhoun, Coleen Wilson of Chatsworth; and a granddaughter, Alexandria Conner. A Funeral service to celebrate the life of William Ray Conner will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, March 17, 2017 at the chapel of Dalton Funeral Home with Rev. Nathan Johnson officiating. Interment will be at West Hill Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends for visitation from 5-8 PM Thursday evening.
