William Franklin Kilgore, age 78, of Dalton, Georgia passed away Sunday, December 8, 2019. He was born on September 15, 1941. He was preceded in death by his parents, Virgil and Dorothy Kilgore; and sister, Barbara Webb. He is survived by his wife, Sharon Kilgore of Dalton; sons and daughter in law, Frank and Ofia Kilgore of Dalton, Jack Kilgore of Dalton; daughters and sons in law, Tabatha Pierce of Chatsworth, Misty and Brandon Hooker of Dalton, Holly Painter and Donald Edison; brother in law, Jackie Webb; grandchildren, Thomas and Kelly Kilgore, Tyler Hooker, Aric Hooker, Lanie Hooker, Damien Long, Hunter Painter, Jace Painter, and Ethan Edison. A funeral service to celebrate the life of William Franklin Kilgore will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, December 13, 2019 at the chapel of Dalton Funeral Home with Reverend Gary Henderson officiating.
