William "Peepum" Millsap, age 78, of Chatsworth, Georgia went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 25, 2022 at home with his wife of 38 years, family and loved ones by his side. He was born on December 3, 1943 in Ellijay, Georgia. He was preceded in death by his parents, Marion "F.M." and Annie Millsap; brothers, Roy Millsap, Clay Millsap, and John Millsap; sisters, Dovie Flowers, Margaret Mulkey, Clara M. Dean, Oma Harden, and Addie Wheeler; and one grandson, Dillon. He is survived by his wife, Margie Millsap of the residence; sons and daughter-in-law, Ricky Millsap, Kimsey and Darlene Millsap, and Tommy Millsap; sister, Roxie Chastain; step daughter and step son-in-law, Gail and Charles Knight; 4 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; 4 step grandchildren; 3 great step grandchildren; 2 great great step grandchildren, Lexie and Ryder; Nieces, nephews, very special friends and neighbors. The family would like to express their grateful appreciation to U.S. Renal of Chatsworth, Homestead Hospice, and Dalton Funeral Home. A funeral service to celebrate the life of William "Peepum" Millsap will be held at 1:00 PM Friday, January 28, 2022 with Rev. Scott Young officiating. Interment will be at Center Valley Cemetery in Chatsworth, GA. The family will be receiving friends for visitation from 5-8 PM Thursday evening. At his request, flowers please be omitted.
