William Nichols, age 75, of Rocky Face, Georgia passed away Friday, March 9, 2018. He was born on January 11, 1943. He was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth Nichols; parents, David Nichols, Sr. and Addie Lee Burke; brother, Roswell Nichols; and a sister, Blanche Freeman. He is survived by his son, David Nichols of Dalton; daughters, Betty Ledford of Dalton, Mary Tallent of Dalton; brother and sister in law, David Jr. and Carolyn Nichols of Dalton; special grandsons, Austin Ledford, Logan Ledford, Corbin Nichols; and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service to celebrate the life of William Nichols will be held at 3:00 PM Tuesday, March 13, 2018 at the chapel of Dalton Funeral Home with Rev. Lonnie Starnes officiating. Interment will be at West Hill Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends for visitation from 1:00 PM until the hour of service.
