William Thomas Phillips, age 73, of Dalton, Georgia passed away Saturday, June 16, 2018. He was born on March 23, 1945 in Red Clay, GA. William was of the Baptist faith. He worked for Cagle's Poultry for 45 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lester and Lide Phillips; and grandmother, Stella Raburn. He is survived by his wife, Vivian Phillips of Dalton; son, William "Bo" Phillips, JR of Dalton; brother, Charles Phillips of Adel, GA; numerous brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews. A funeral service to celebrate the life of William Thomas Phillips will be held at 6:00 PM Wednesday, June 20, 2018 at the chapel of Dalton Funeral Home with Pastor Tom Moseley officiating.
