William "Billy" Samuel Anderson, age 82, of Dalton, Georgia passed away Friday, December 9, 2022. He was born on May 31, 1940. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Lena Agnes Anderson. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Elaine "Arnold" Anderson of Dalton; sister, Betty Sue Kropp of Florida; Lelia Parker who was like a sister; special people that filled his heart and home with love, Miranda Buckner, Hazel Hight, Kambria Buckner, and Brantley Buckner. Visitation for Mr. Anderson will be held from 12-2 PM Tuesday, December 13, 2022 with a funeral service to follow at 2:00 PM at the chapel of Dalton Funeral Home with Bro. Douglas Lackey officiating. Interment will be at Dawn Rest Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital of Memphis TN.
