William "Clyde" Silvers, age 75, of Chatsworth, Georgia passed away Thursday, September 27, 2018. He was born on June 15, 1943. He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Dorthy Silvers; brothers, Travis Silvers; and a sister, Sheila Shelton. He is survived by his wife, Camella Silvers of Chatsworth; sons, Rocky Silvers (Brenda) of Chatsworth, Buddy Silvers (Kathy) of Dayton, TN, William Clyde Silvers, JR (Juanita) of Ringgold; daughters, Tracy Millwood (Bobby) of Dalton, Pam Standridge of Rocky Face; brothers, Clay Silvers, Danny Silvers, Ricky Silvers, Kent Silvers (Tina); sister, Lisa Spence (Steve); special niece, Audrey Ponders; special friends, Lisa and Nick Williams; grandchildren, Britney Nix, Rochelle Allen, Jeff Ritchey, Terry Green, Jeremy Green, Paul Standridge, Heavenly Grace Standridge, Chance Silvers, Jayce Silvers, Summer Silvers; 10 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service to celebrate the life of William "Clyde" Silvers will be held at 1:00 PM Sunday, September 30, 2018 at the chapel of Dalton Funeral Home with Sister June Parker officiating. Interment will be at Silvers Family Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends for visitation from 5-8 PM Saturday evening.
