William Thomas Sledge, age 86, of Calhoun, Georgia passed away June 4, 2016. He was born on February 13, 1930 in Sweetwater, TN. He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Louise Sledge; and his parents, Charlie and Nancey Sledge. He is survived by his sons, Clarence and Bobby Sledge bith of Resaca; daughter and son in law, Joyce and Marlow Morris of Calhoun; 15 grandchildren; and 24 great grandchildren. A funeral service to celebrate the life of William Thomas Sledge will be held at 1:00 PM Tuesday, June 7, 2016 at the chapel of Dalton Funeral Home.
