William "Billy" Wilson, age 72, of Dalton, Georgia passed away Wednesday, January 9, 2019. He was born on January 27, 1946. He was preceded by his wife, Kay Wilson; parents, William Lester Williams, SR and Clida Jones Wilson; brothers, Jimmie Wilson and Jesse Wilson; sister, Elizabeth Tipton.; and a brother in law, Jackie Earwood. He is survived by his son, William Wilson III of Orlando; sisters and brother in law, Emmalee and Hubert Langley of Dalton, Pauline Earwood of Dalton, Vivian White of Dalton; and a granddaughter, Breana Wilson. A funeral service to celebrate the life of William Wilson will be held 4:00 PM Friday, January 11, 2019 at the chapel of Dalton Funeral Home.
