Willie Virginia Smith, age 82, of Tunnel Hill, Georgia passed away Tuesday, December 18, 2018. She was born on March 21, 1936. She was preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Daisy Walls; stepson, Gary Smith; brother, Grover Walls; sisters, Maudie Flower and Mary Belle Walls. She is survived by her husband, Harold Smith of Tunnel Hill; son, Joseph Dupree of Tunnel Hill; stepsons, Ricky Smith (Leean) of Tunnel Hill, Eddie Smith of Rocky Face; daughter, Kathy Ramirez (Amselmo) of Tunnel Hill; brother, Carlton "Dinky" Walls (Sherry) of Chatsworth; sisters, Melba Patterson of Tunnel Hill, Beatrice Jones of Chatsworth, Patrice Ramsey of Chatsworth; grandchildren, April Hudgens (Chad), Jordan Dupree Smith (Samantha), Daisy Ramirez; great grandchildren, Eric Eaker (Megan), Eli Hickman, Eliva Hudgens, Elyana Hudgens, Dixie Smith, Katlii Smith; great great grandchild, Reagan Eaker; and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service to celebrate the life of Willie Virginia Smith will be held at 3:00 PM Saturday, December 22, 2018 at the chapel of Dalton Funeral Home with Pastor Mark Amspaugh officiating. Interment will be at Robinson-Kilgore Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends for visitation from 5-8 PM Friday evening.
