Wilma Phillips, age 93, of Rocky Face, Georgia passed away Tuesday, October 23, 2018. She was born on May 1, 1925. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Walter Roach and James Phillips; parents, Harvey and Lora Braden; son, Roger Lee Roach; brothers, Troy, Fred, Johnny, and Oscar Braden; sisters, Florence and Mildred. She is survived by her son, Harvey Roach of Rocky Face, GA; daughter, Lisa Phillips of Tuscaloosa, AL; sister, Minnie Faulkner of Corryton, TN; 6 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; 5 great great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service to celebrate the life of Wilma Phillips will be held at 1:00 PM Friday, October 26, 2018 at The Church of God of the Union Assembly with Bro. Lonnie Starnes officiating. Interment will be at West Hill Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends for visitation from 5-8 PM Thursday evening at the funeral home, and she will lay in state from 12-1 PM on Friday at the church prior to the service.
