Mrs. Zona M. Terry "Carpenter", age 100, of Dalton, GA. passed away on Tuesday, June 27, 2023. She was born on May 6, 1923. She was preceded in death by her parents, Garrett and Lula "Paul" Carpenter; husband, Odell Terry; sons, James Simpkins and Billy Joe Simpkins; brothers, Hubert Carpenter and Willie Carpenter; sisters, Ann Jones, Pearl Honeycutt, and Lola Baker; and son-in-law, William Kilgore. She is survived by her daughters, Sharon Kilgore of Dalton and Denise Lozano of TN; daughters-in-law, Lois Simpkins and Margie Simpkins; and several other grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
